Like most, I am on a journey. I do my best to take things as they come. I am working on finding balance in my life and following my path without abandoning the responsibilities I have committed to in my daily life. I believe whole-heartedly in the power of 1 person to make a positive and lasting difference in the world.

One of my biggest struggles is to not become disheartened by others who do not see what good we can do when we come together. It is hard to move forward while so many are standing still. But, even if it is a baby step at a time, I do my best to climb that mountain. And hopefully, I will find others to share with, learn from and even teach on my journey.

I have hopes of starting a charity called the Kindness Revolution. The idea is on paper in the form of a business plan. The introductions to a limited public have been made. The research has been done. And the heart is in the right place. Now, I have to find the monetary means of securing charitable status. Hopefully the new year will put me in the frame of mind to overcome this final hurdle.

I try to live life with an open mind and heart and hope to find myself surrounded by others who do the same.
